Description
Lepanto-DSR Capsules contain Pantoprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg (SR), a combination formulated to help manage acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces excessive stomach acid production, helping relieve symptoms such as heartburn, acid reflux, and acid-related discomfort. Domperidone is a prokinetic medicine that helps improve gastrointestinal motility and provides relief from symptoms such as nausea and vomiting associated with certain digestive conditions. The sustained-release (SR) formulation is designed to provide prolonged release of Domperidone. Lepanto-DSR may be prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and related digestive symptoms when clinically appropriate. It should be taken strictly as directed by a doctor, as Domperidone may affect heart rhythm in some patients. Prolonged or unsupervised use should be avoided.
