Description
Lekodox-50 Syrup contains Cefpodoxime 50 mg, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of various bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. Cefpodoxime works by interfering with bacterial cell wall formation, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth and helping control infection. It may be prescribed for selected infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose and throat, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues, depending on the patient’s condition and the causative organism. Lekodox-50 is supplied as a dry syrup that is reconstituted with water according to the product instructions. The dose should be measured carefully and administered strictly as prescribed by a doctor. It is not effective against viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
